4 stars, 22 out of 24. I loved this story of a robot trying to survive in the wilderness with the help of her animal friends, and also trying to raise a baby goose. I like the characters because Roz cares for all the animals, and the animals care for her. For example, when Roz saves

Lastly, even though they kept me wondering what would happen next, they still managed to keep the story organized to help me completely understand it. For example, at the end of chapter 17, I wondered what she meant when she said, “camouflage could help her survive.” Later, when I figured out what she meant, I completely understood due to the how the book was organized.

The Wild Robot was a great book! It’s a book about a robot named Roz, who was in a crate on a ship, and herself on an island. I rated the book 24/24 rubric rating and 5 out of 5 stars. I really liked the characters of this book. One reason is they don’t always get along. If everyone got along in the story, it would be boring. For example, in “The Roz, and how ‘they wanted nothing to do with her”. That made the story more interesting. I also liked how everything didn’t revolve around Roz. The Author didn’t ignore how the characters felt. For example, in’ “The beavers”, “Mr. Beaver slapped his broad tail in the water” defending his turf from Roz. I also liked the books organization. Peter Brown makes the story so Mysterious. He adds suspense throughout the book. He wrote, “there was an eerie glow” and “a chorus of terrified voices”. As you can see, Peter Brown used words like swelled and eerie that filled me with the mood of the story. Those words moved me to want to turn to the next page. Lastly, there’s originality in the book. I think The Wild Robot is very original. I’ve never seen a book with the same type of story line or plot. Truly, I think The Wild Robot was a great book!
