Unusual for the Exceptional poultry farmer 20/24 4 stars
Have you ever owned a super chicken Well Sophie Brown did.
The book Unusual chickens is about when Sophie Brown find a surprise in the back of her barn [her house] . This surprise is a chicken with the power of force. Later on in the book she finds more chickens in her barn. As you can see this book shows originality. I mean do you think a chicken will show up at you house? This book also kept me very interesting, like when Sophie had to get her chicken’s back form Mr. Griergson . Speaking of Mr. Greigson the characters in the book were so amazing, even the chickens have their own characters. Like when Henrietta moves the bottle with her mind. The setting in the book could have been better there is only 3 places the book, the far ,the Poultry show and the house. I thought that the book Unusual chicken is a great book so I gave it a 4 stars rating, but I did give it a 20/24 because the setting was not so good. I thought that the book that Unusual chickens book was amazing!
Unusual Chickens For The Excptlonal Poultry Farmer 4 stars 14/24
Unusual Chickens For The Excptlonal Poultry Famer is an ok book.
The interest was there. There were a lot of times were I could put the book down and grab another book though. But there were sometimes were I did not want to put the book down. Like on page 44 when Sue tried to steal the chickens. That was really interesting.
The setting was good. The mood of the story changed when the setting changed. On page 175-176 were Sophei was really sad and in the old barn. That changed the mood of the story.
The characters did not have any personality. They were all very plan. The author could have defiantly put some more BAM into the characters.
The originality was great. I really like the idea to write a book that was a bunch of letters put together. The author must be very good because this book really told a story.
This book defiantly urns 4 stars. I also believe 14/24 rubric rating fits this book. This book was centered around chickens super powers. And their adventure of getting stolen and their super powers. I recommend this book if you like adventure and chickens!
Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer 5 stars 23/24
Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer is about a girl named Sophie who wants to save her chickens from a woman named Ms.Griegson who is trying to steal her chickens. Why I rated Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry 5 stars and a 23/24 rubric rating is because I think the plot language is good. Since the book is supposed to be funny, I think the language the language is funny. Like in page 32 it said, “She opened one eye and looked mad. So I turned around and ran all the way back to the house and locked our front door.” I think the organization is okay because almost the whole book is made up of letters she is writing to people. Like in page 186 it says, “Agnes Redwood Farm Supply Gravenstein, CA 95472.” I think the book is very interesting because I kept wanting to turn the page. On page 61 it says, “Are Chickens Right for you,” I wanted to see what that test was about. I think the setting is exiting. In page 174 it said, “And then I felt that shadow again, and the chickens started to run, and I ran after them, flapping my arms and yelling to keep that hawk away.” This is why I rated Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer 5 stars and a 23/24 rubric rating.
Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer
4 stars rubric rating 20/24
This is why I gave this book a 4 star rating and 20/24 rubric rating. This book is about a girl who just moved to a farm. She finds chickens with super powers and someone is trying to steal them. First of all let’s start off with the interest. On pg. 104 the interest was terrible. This is why it was terrible. The text said, “At night chickens’ metabolism slows until they are virtually incapable of reacting predators.” It was boring! On pg.205 it was interesting how chickens called the, Speckled Sussex, could see the dead and they typed what a dead women named Agnes was saying from the dead. Now let’s talk about the setting. On pg.98 there wasn’t much of a description of the town for instance “Most of the buildings look like there from old time days.” On pg. 105 it was an amazing setting. I could see a chicken being “Secure on three side and roofed” in its nesting box. The characters were amazing you could picture them in your mind. One of the characters was a chicken and this is how they described it. “Barred Plymouth Rock, standard height fluffy black and white plumage with distinctive baring yellow feathers legs and feet”. I know amazing! The originality was speechless. I’ve never seen a book with chickens that have super powers. For example one of the chickens could use the Force. This is why I gave this book 4 stars and 20/24 rubric rating.
Unusual Chickens For The Exceptional Poultry Farmer 5 Stars
Have you ever seen a chicken? Well, Sophie has. She has seen very unusual chickens with superpowers. Sophie is from a book called Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer.
This book is amazing. It is about a girl named Sophie that finds unusual chickens. There is a chicken thief in the neighborhood wants her chickens, and Sophie has to protect them. I gave it this rating (22/24) because it has great plot language, interest, setting, and characters. It didn’t have too good organization or originality, though. The text says, “Dear Great-Uncle Jim, you know that chicken I told you about? It can use the force.” The book has great plot language. The story went a little bumpy, but mostly smooth. I didn’t like how all the letters were organized. There was a lot to Agnes in a row then a lot to Abuelita. I gave a 3 to organization. Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer interested me very much. The text says, “I can’t find your website anywhere, so Mom said I should write you a business letter requesting a catalogue. Your flyer says you have Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer.” That hooked me. The book isn’t very original. I’ve read books where animals have superpowers, but not chickens! Make sure to read Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer soon!
