Paper Things 22/24 4 stars
What if you were homeless? Well, Adi and her brother Gage were in the book Paper Things. Let me tell you about it.
Well, Paper Things was overall a great book. I could literally not put this book down! I love how Jennifer Richard Jacobson described the characters. For example, “Today her so-blond-it’s-nearly-white hair is pulled up in a bun, like she’s going to a dance recital or something.” You can really picture that!
I gave this book a 22/24 rubric rating because although everything else was great, originality was a weak spot. Paper Things reminded me of Small as an Elephant, How to Steal a Dog, and many more books.
I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars because of the originality, but everything else is perfect.
Although there were some ups and downs, Paper Things is an overall awesome book.

Paper Things 4 ½ stars 22/24
I think that Paper Things is a great book because even though it doesn’t have extraordinary details, the way that the book is written makes you feel as if you are Ari and all of the things she is experiencing are happening to you.(It’s written in first person point of view.) also the setting enhances the story and if you don’t pay attention to it, you might not understand some parts of the book. The characters are very memorable because the book is simply written but emotionally rich. Also, the book has a very big cliffhanger at the end, leaving you wondering what’s going to happen next. What it says is,”We hold hands and jump.” Those are some reasons I was overjoyed when I read the book Paper Things.

Paper Things 5 stars 24/24

I read a book called Paper Things it was outstanding! The book has a good an interesting grabber lead. I would recommend it to a family member or friend.

When I read Paper Things I literally couldn’t stop reading. It leaves you at wonderful cliff hangers too. For example, at the end of the book it says Sasha isn’t officially in Carter. Paper Things has very interesting parts such as, when she and Gabe are at the Lighthouse girls tear up her paper people.
The setting of the book flows with the book. Ari and Gabe go from place to place trying to find their own place to stay. Gabe doesn’t want to be bossed around by Janna their official guardian so they go out on their own. They move from Janna’s to Chloe’s and then end up at Briggs’. Will they find their own house or have to stay at Gabe’s friend’s house for the rest of their life?
When I read this book I felt like I was with them. The characters in Paper Things feel so lifelike. It felt like I was there at the Lighthouse with them when Ari’s people wore ruined. I could feel their emotions. The author has a voice to the book and it makes you feel like you’re there homeless with them.

When you read the marvelous book Paper Things you would have never even guessed what happens at the end of their journey from house to house. The concept of the story hasn’t been told many times or any times in any of the books that I have read. The book isn’t a story such as, The Three Little Pigs or Little Red Riding Hood. It is new and fresh. These are just some reasons why the book is amazing. But I am sure that there are plenty more.

Paper Things Four Stars 19/28 Points
I loved this book! I could not put it down! It was about Ari and Gage who are trying to live without Janna’s (their gardian’s) aid. I gave this book 4 stars because it was serious but enjoyable at the same time. Ari used to think she was a star student but now she’s not sure. She is also trying to get into Wilson Middle School. Her worries travel back to the street where they navigate through Briggs’ house to the Lighthouse. At school she is trying to get the traditions back. She soon finds out that she needs the queen of rules (Janna) more than she thinks.

Paper Things 4 stars 14/24
To put up the topic a bit, this review is about Paper Things. Paper Things is a story of a girl named Ari and she lives with her friends in an apartment because her parents died, she meets other friends and things happen in the meantime.
For me, Paper things is sort of hard to put down. The book has good interest and has characters that are described a bit, you may sometimes forget their names. The story is organized into only Ari’s point of view, this means nothing gets out of order and its only Ari’s story, it doesn’t switch to someone else’s point of view. A reason this book has great interest is that when there’s a big event, you really want to know what happens: Is she safe, or will she get caught? You may think something like that when one of these big events happen. If I were to rate this book, I would do 4 ½ stars because this is not the best book I had (but it’s still a great book!) and I don’t exactly like reading but this is a great book so forget that. This is what I think about Paper things, or just say this was my opinion. In conclusion, Paper things is one of the best chapter books I had. I would suggest you read it!

Pramiti Vora Paper Things Five stars 24 rubric rating

This book is an excellent book since… This book has a good organization because it feels that it is a live scene that you are watching when there is dialogue. This book has good interest since the characters are unique in their own way. As evidence Sasha is responsible and she is a patrol leader. Meanwhile Ari is not very responsible because she is poor. She moves house to house that and is not able to take care of her school things. Ari had left her guardian with her brother because he had problems with the guardian. Sasha and Ari are best friends. The setting is great due to the way the book describes everything so the picture would come in your head. For example it said, ’’Just then something whizzes by us and ricochets off the side of the building nearly hitting Amelia in the head. It’s a chunk of brick – a big chunk.’’ The characters are life like because the way they use the dialogue it makes you feel like there is a person and you cannot forget a person who is special in the book. That is why I gave it five stars and a 24 rubric rating.

Paper Things 5 Stars 24/24
I loved this book! I gave it 5 stars because it was funny, interesting, and it made me cry. Pretend you didn’t hear the last part. It was funny when Ari sniffed her armpit and thought it smelled. For interesting, it was always interesting when Daniel was around. And crying, I’m not going to talk about that. I really like the last page of the story. If you look at the last page first (like I do) you won’t really get it. I’m not going to tell you too much, but once you read the book, you will see why I gave the book a 24/24.

Paper Things 4 Stars Rubric Rating: 22/24

This was an amazing book I would totally recommend this to a friend or family member. I handed Paper Things a 4 star rating because I’m not only generous, but I actually really loved this, I loved how the author had such a great voice and made everything sound quote “real”. I can’t say this is one of those top tier books ever one should read, but it’s still awesome.
I let this book get away with a rubric rating of 22/24, because had lots of good language and details and “descriptiveness”. Not only that but, amazing organization, the ideas and thoughts that the author threw at me, tied together easily. Once I got to the second chapter I fell in love in this book, I was interested the second I picked it up. And I’m just getting started what makes this book SHINE is the originality, I have never read ANYTHING like this, and that’s one of the reasons why I’m VERY interested in this book

4/5 stars PaperThings 22/24

First, what happened was Ari’s mother died and Ari promised that no matter what she will stick with Gage (her brother). Then, they had to stay with their guardian Jenna. After hard times Gage was done with Jenna. He thinks that she is too bossy and annoying. This ended up meaning that Gage was going to move out, even though they don’t have any money or an apartment. As a result, they went to homeless shelters, friends’ house, and his girlfriend (Chloe). Out of all the things her Paper things folder makes her the happiest. Her Paper Things were messed up after she went to a shelter. Then, finally Gage decides that he wants to go on a date with Chloe. Then Ari is home alone at Chloe’s with these random people outside. After, Ari calls Jenna and Jenna takes Ari to her house. Gage comes knocking on the door and Jenna and Gage make up. Gage finally moves in with Jenna. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars because, there was no good descriptive or juicy detailed words throughout the book. I also give this book a 22/24 on the rubric scale because, of the plot language the book was interesting but, it was not because of language.

Paper Things 5/5 stars Rating 15/24
Paper Things was a good book, one of the best books I have ever read. The interest with this book was not very strong at first, but as I read on it became hard to put the book down. I was in love with this book! I could not tell if they were going to get an apartment or not?! The setting was ok but I never really got a picture in my mind. There were lots of different places throughout the book, which I liked. One of my favorite things in the book is the characters. They all were very well described and they all had differences. The originality was awesome I really never read a book so amazing like Paper Things. That’s why I gave it all the stars I can and, a rating of 15/24 stars. What made this book so phenomenal is the ending when Ari and Daniel counted 1,2,3 and jumped!

Paper Things 4/5 stars 21 rating from rubric
I liked paper things a lot. At the end it was great how Ari got into Carter just like all of her family. Gage had so many friends that let him and Ari stay with them and sleep over for the night. That paper air plane that Reggie gave Ari I can’t believe it actually made her wish come true so that Gage would get the job at Jiffy Lube. I do not know why Mr. Chandler took away the school traditions. Those are the reasons why I think Paper Things is a 4 star book and from the rubric 21 points.
